ATTOCK, Nov 3 (APP): A comprehensive development plan worth Rs 3.28 billion has been approved for Hazro under Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Model City Project.
According to APP correspondent, the project aims to transform Hazro into a modern, aesthetically developed urban center, focusing on infrastructure, beautification, and long-term civic improvement.
The project will divert wastewater from Fawara Chowk to Ghoda Chowk and channel it through a bypass to the Sim Nullah near Riyaz Lillah Hospital.
The scheme also includes beautification and modernization of Hazro city, featuring tough tile installation, dedicated vehicle parking spaces, and upgraded commercial areas.
The project, led by Monitoring Committee Member Jahangir Khanzada, is expected to be completed within two years. The development plan will cover key areas, including Chhachh Interchange to Colonel Shuja Khanzada Shaheed Road (Tarbela Road), Toll Tax Nartopa Chowk, Khagwani Chowk, and Tarbela Chowk (Ghora Chowk).
