WAH CANTT, Nov 3 (APP):State Minister for Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik has held meeting with British High Commissioner (HC) to Pakistan, Jane Marriott during her visit to Taxila, where both sides discussed strengthening bilateral ties, cooperation and expanding engagements in areas of mutual interest.
The British HC also visited Taxila Museum and UNESCO World Heritage archaeological sites, where matters related to heritage preservation and promoting cultural tourism came under discussion.
During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their resolve to further enhance Pak–UK partnership and continue coordination in multiple sectors.
Barrister Aqeel Malik said Pakistan was committed to protecting civilization heritage and fostering stable international relations, while Jane Marriott acknowledged Pakistan’s historical significance and appreciated ongoing efforts for safeguarding ancient sites.
