LAHORE, Nov 02 (APP): The second phase of the Friends of California USA and ChenOne Flood Relief Campaign commenced on Sunday with renewed dedication to compassion, community service, and humanitarian support for families affected by last year’s devastating floods.
During the distribution of relief goods among the flood-affected people, Mian Kashif Ashfaq, Co-President of the Pakistan Chapter of Friends of California USA and ChenOne, said that building upon the success of the first phase, this renewed initiative aims to provide essential clothing, food supplies, and financial assistance to families still striving to recover and rebuild their lives.
He said that the organization’s dedicated teams remain actively engaged in the field to ensure that every contribution reaches those in genuine need, bringing hope, comfort, and stability to the most vulnerable. “We reaffirm our shared commitment to humanity, believing that collective efforts can create lasting change. Together, we aim to restore dignity, warmth, and stability to countless households affected by this calamity,” he added.
On the occasion, Mian Kashif Ashfaq, along with other notables, offered special prayers for the flood victims, asking Almighty Allah to ease their suffering, grant them strength and patience, and bless all those who have extended compassion and support to this noble cause.
