NAWABSHAH, Nov 02 (APP):Sindh Integrated Emergency Health Services (SIEHS) 1122, Shaheed Benazirabad, in collaboration with the District Sports Department, on Sunday organized a grand one-day Sports Gala featuring exciting competitions between the SBA Zone and Hyderabad Zone teams.
The competitions were held in Badminton, Tug of War, Cricket, 100-meter Race, and Volleyball. The SBA Zone emerged victorious in Cricket, 100-meter Race, and Volleyball, while the Hyderabad Zone secured first positions in Badminton and Tug of War.
In this regard, an award distribution ceremony was held at Bilawal Sports Complex, Nawabshah. Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Division Shahmir Khan Bhutto graced the event as the chief guest and Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani along with Director Operations SIEHS 1122 Latif Ali Mangrio attended as Guests of Honour. Later Commissioner Shahmir Khan Bhutto, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani, Director Operations SIEHS 1122 Latif Ali Mangrio, and District Manager SIEHS Aqsa Jamali distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winning and runner-up teams.
Addressing the ceremony, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and other speakers said that the one-day Sports Gala organized by SIEHS 1122 Shaheed Benazirabad aims to promote sports among the youth and provide them opportunities to show their talent. They appreciated SIEHS for this commendable initiative promoting healthy and recreational activities. The event was also attended by District Sports Officer Abdul Rahim Rajput, District Health Officer Dr. Mudassir Hussain Domki, Senior Manager Farid Khaskheli, Yasir Raza Memon, Rescue Incharge 1122 Abdul Manan, Mukhtiarkar Nadeem Rind, Joint Secretary Thalassemia Care Center Ghulam Nabi Channa, and others.
