KARACHI, Oct 31 (APP):The Sindh government, on Friday, extended the last date of registration for “Wheat Growers Support Program”, a food security initiative aimed at encouraging wheat cultivation through provision of subsidized fertilizer to farmers.
The 8 November 2025 is the new deadline, the Sindh Agriculture Department announced in a statement issued here, adding that farmers, sowing the staple food grain in the ensuing winter season and could not register for the subsidy so far, will be able to make it now by registering by November 8, 2025.
The initial deadline for registration for the “Wheat Growers Support Program” was October 31, 2025. The purpose of extending the date, according to a spokesperson, is to provide maximum wheat farmers with the opportunity to register and benefit from the program and get DAP and Urea fertilizers at subsidized rates.
