SARGODHGA, Oct 31 (APP):The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has launched a tree plantation campaign along Canal Road and planted 1,100 saplings between Chungi no. 9 and 33 Phatak here on Friday.
During the event, MD PHA Muhammad Arshad said that the ongoing campaign aims to enhance the city’s greenery, cleanliness, and overall appeal. He explained that the waste enclosures along the canal, managed by SWMC, were being surrounded by trees on all sides to create an eco-friendly environment and picturesque surroundings.
Arshad also highlighted that trees were being planted in clusters at various points along the road to allow passersby to enjoy the natural beauty and a more pleasant atmosphere.
He assured that, under the special direction of Commissioner Jahanzeb Awan, this tree plantation drive would continue as part of efforts to beautify the city and improve the local environment.
