ISLAMABAD, Oct 30 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 13 criminals in separate operations across the federal capital during their ongoing crackdown to curb crime and protect citizens’ lives and property.
An official told APP on Thursday that police teams from Tarnol, Noon, Khanna, Koral, Lohi Bher, Phulgran and Shahzad Town police stations arrested 10 accused and recovered 1,690 grams of hashish, 440 grams of ice, and three pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the arrested accused while further investigation is underway.
Additionally, during a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, three more criminals were also arrested.
SSP Operation/Investigation Muhammad Usman Butt stated that Islamabad Police are continuously working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital.
No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city, he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
