BAHAWALPUR, Oct 30 (APP):A high-level meeting chaired by Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Musarrat Jabeen, reviewed in detail the implementation of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set for various government departments.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur, Dr Farhan Farooq, and officers from multiple departments, while Deputy Commissioner Bahawalnagar, Zulfiqar Ahmad Bhon, and Deputy Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan, Zaheer Anwar Jappa, participated via video link.
During the meeting, Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen directed all departmental heads to ensure strict compliance with the prescribed performance standards and to further enhance service delivery for the public’s convenience. She warned that no negligence or laxity would be tolerated in the implementation of the Punjab Government’s Key Performance Indicators.
The meeting also reviewed progress on several key areas defined by the Punjab Government, including city beautification, the Clean Punjab Program, monitoring of development projects, cultivation of wheat on state land, enforcement of fixed roti prices, price control mechanisms, maintenance of hospitals and health centers, and improvement of educational facilities. Other focus areas included covering open manholes, eliminating stray dogs, enforcing the plastic bag ban, removal of encroachments, prevention of wall chalking, and ensuring that streetlights remain functional.
Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen emphasized that all officers must make monitoring processes more effective to ensure 100 percent compliance with key performance indicators. She further instructed that, in accordance with the directives of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, activities at the Union Council level be intensified to ensure the provision of quality public services to citizens.
