Crackdown on illegal Afghan nationals continues in Layyah

MUZAFFARGARH, Oct 30 (APP): In compliance with the government directives, a crackdown on illegal Afghan nationals is underway in the jurisdiction of Chowk Azam Police Station, District Layyah, under the supervision of Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Nadeem.
According to police sources, the police conducted an operation and arrested an Afghan national identified as Muhammad Shoukat, who was residing in Pakistan illegally. After legal formalities, the accused was shifted to the holding center.
SHO Muhammad Nadeem stated that operations against illegally residing Afghan nationals would continue without any discrimination. He warned that strict legal action would also be taken against those renting out houses, shops, or providing employment to illegal foreign residents.
He further urged citizens to report any illegally residing Afghan nationals to the police, assuring that no leniency would be shown in such cases.
