FAISALABAD, Oct 30 (APP):The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has upgraded 39 transformers to ensure uninterrupted power supply to its consumers.
FESCO spokesman Muhammad Saeed Raza said here on Thursday that FESCO has initiated key measures to provide consumers with improved and stable electricity. As part of this drive, FESCO has been converting two-phase transformers into three-phase units to overcome persistent voltage fluctuation issues across various operational circles, he added.
He said total 39 two-phase transformers have been successfully replaced across FESCO’s First, Second, Jhang and Sargodha Circles during the last month.
He said that in the First Circle, one 25 kVA, nine 200 kVA and one 400 kVA transformers were replaced. The Second Circle saw the replacement of one 50 kVA, five 100 kVA and nineteen 200 kVA transformers while in the Jhang Circle, two 200 kVA transformers were upgraded to three-phase units, he added.
He said that replacement of two-phase transformers with three-phase ones would significantly address consumer complaints regarding low or fluctuating voltage. This initiative would not only resolve voltage irregularities but also ensure a more stable and continuous electricity supply to all consumers, he added.
He said that uninterrupted power supply is FESCO’s top priority and the ongoing transformer up-gradation program would help to achieve this objective.
He urged the public to immediately contact the relevant FESCO complaint centers if they face any voltage or power supply issues so that their grievances can be resolved promptly.
