Open court held for resolving farmers problems

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 30 (APP):The district administration Tank held an open court (Kecheri) to resolve problems facing farmers in the area at their doorstep.
According to district administration, the forum was held at Government Girls Primary School Ranwal on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Tanveer Khan in line with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s public welfare agenda.
The session was chaired by Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Tank, Malik Sajid Ali Khan.
Representatives of various district departments, along with local farmers and landowners, participated in the session to discuss challenges and issues related to the agriculture sector. During the forum, officials from the relevant departments were issued necessary instructions to take prompt action on the matters raised by the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, AAC Malik Sajid Ali Khan reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to the welfare of farmers and the enhancement of agricultural productivity, stressing that all possible measures would continue to support the farming community.
He also announced that a follow-up meeting would be held after two weeks to review the progress made on the issues discussed and the steps taken by the concerned departments.
