KP anti-corruption recovers commercial land worth Rs95mM in Malakand

PESHAWAR, Oct 29 (APP):The Anti-Corruption Establishment Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recovered 9 kanals and 10 marlas of commercial land in Malakand, valued at Rs95 million.

The recovery came after an inquiry into complaints of encroachment on land owned by the Irrigation Department.

 The investigation confirmed that the property legally belonged to the department of Agriculture and Irrigation.

Acting on the findings, the Anti-Corruption team, along with officials from the Irrigation Department and local administration, retrieved the land and handed it back to the concerned department.
