RAWALPINDI, Oct 28 (APP):Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Region, Babar Sarfraz Alpa on Tuesday visited the stadium to review security arrangements for the Pakistan vs South Africa T20 match, according to the RPO spokesperson.
During the visit, the RPO conducted a detailed inspection of the security cordon, entry and exit routes, and arrangements over there.
He also reviewed the deployment of police personnel and issued directions to ensure professional performance of duties.
Snipers also deployed on rooftops, CCTV monitoring systems, and control room operations were also checked during the inspection.
The RPO emphasized that foolproof security must be ensured throughout the match.
He directed Elite Force, Dolphin Force, and police station mobiles to maintain continuous patrolling around the stadium. A comprehensive traffic management plan has also been implemented to facilitate the public.
RPO Babar Sarfraz Alpa further instructed that all senior officers must remain present in the field to supervise and monitor security arrangements.
