FAISALABAD, Oct 28 (APP):Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar conducted a surprise visit to the Children’s Hospital on Jhang Road on Tuesday to assess health facilities in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
During the visit, the Commissioner reviewed the treatment facilities available for children in various wards and the emergency room. He interacted with the parents of the children undergoing treatment and inquired about the availability and distribution of medicines by the hospital administration.
Emphasizing the importance of uninterrupted medical care, Commissioner Anwar directed the hospital authorities to ensure that there be no disruptions in the supply of medicines to the children. He also highlighted the urgent need to fill vacant medical officer positions within the hospital, as well as the provision of essential equipment such as ventilators and warmers.
Additionally, the Commissioner announced plans for the construction of a waiting area in the available space within the hospital, with support from local philanthropists. He urged the Medical Superintendent to ensure that medical emergency services at the hospital remain on high alert at all times.
The Commissioner praised the hospital’s role as a key treatment center for children not only from Faisalabad but also from neighboring districts, stressing the need for continuous improvements to enhance its services.
