HU and Al-Mustafa Trust inks MoU to promote social welfare and community development

MANSEHRA, Oct 28 (APP):Hazara University Mansehra and the international welfare organization Al-Mustafa Trust Tuesday have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in social welfare, student empowerment, and community services.
The agreement was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ikramullah Khan and Mr. Hamid Raza, Admin Operations of Al-Mustafa Trust. Under the first phase of collaboration, the Trust will install a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant at Hazara University to provide safe drinking water, benefiting thousands of students, staff, and nearby residents.
Prof. Dr. Ikramullah Khan said that employees are the true assets of any institution and shared that the university has increased the wages of daily-wage workers from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000, while efforts are underway to bring Al-Mustafa Hospital Dhodial onto the university’s medical panel. He also disclosed that consultations are ongoing for the establishment of a Medical College at the university.
Hamid Raza noted that Al-Mustafa Trust operates in 34 countries worldwide and expressed the organization’s commitment to expanding its partnership with Hazara University.
