BAHAWALPUR, Oct 28 (APP):The department of soil science, faculty of agriculture and environment, Islamia University Bahawalpur organized a seminar on the importance of iron for crops and its intake for human health, here on Tuesday.
More than 200 farmers attended the seminar and participated in the discussions on the importance of iron in crop production and human nutrition.
Dr Azhar Hussain, Associate Professor, Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, Islamia University of Bahawalpur briefed the participants about the importance of iron for crops and human health.
He discussed the role of iron in improving crop yield and quality and emphasized its significance for maintaining good human health.
Dr. Tanvir Ahmad, Dr. Abubakar Dar and Dr Zafar Iqbal shared their valuable insights and appreciated the research team’s efforts to promote soil fertility and human health through efficient iron management in agriculture.
