Gas container overturns,no damage reported
KHANEWAL, Oct 28 (APP):A container loaded with over 47 tons of gas overturned near Mehar Shah area in Khanewal on Tuesday.
According to rescuers,the accident occurred when the gas container,traveling from Taftan to Lahore,lost balance and overturned.
Rescue teams rushed to the site immediately after receiving the information and the road leading to the scene was blocked as a precautionary measure.
Safety officer Imtiaz Ahmad said that the container was later straightened and secured,with almost all of the gas safely contained.However,no damage or loss was reported in the incident.
