PESHAWAR, Oct 27 (APP):Ex-Provincial Law Minister Aftab Alam met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on Monday to discuss matters related to the allocation of special grants for Bar Councils and Tehsil Bar Associations across the province.
During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on ensuring a fair, balanced, and need-based distribution of the grants.
Aftab Alam stressed that the process must remain transparent and aligned with the genuine requirements of the legal fraternity.
He further noted that strengthening bar associations was vital for improving the justice system at the grassroots level.
The former law minister also underscored the importance of prioritizing areas where bar associations face resource constraints, adding that equitable funding would help provide better facilities for lawyers and support the dispensation of justice.
Additional Advocate General Mudassir was also present at the meeting.
