KHANEWAL, Oct 27 (APP):The district administration of Khanewal marked Black Day on Sunday to condemn India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and express unwavering solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people.
A solidarity rally was organized, which began at Jinnah Library and proceeded to the District Police Officer’s office. The rally was supervised by Assistant Commissioner Rohit Kumar Ganeeta and saw active participation from citizens, civil society members, and a large number of school students.
Participants carried banners and placards with pro-Kashmir slogans, including “Kashmir Banega Pakistan” and “Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein,” emphasizing their unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s just struggle for freedom.
During the event, speakers reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued moral, political, and diplomatic support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). They stressed the importance of upholding the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, in accordance with United Nations resolutions, and vowed that Pakistan would continue to stand by Kashmir until its people achieve freedom.
