ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):Balochistan Assembly Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai on Monday called on National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at the Parliament House, where they discussed the security situation and ongoing development projects in the province.
The Speaker paid heartfelt tribute to the unwavering sacrifices of Pakistan’s security forces in their mission to restore and maintain peace in Balochistan. He emphasized that the Pakistan Army continues to play a pivotal role in ensuring stability across the province.
Emphasizing regional security challenges, the Speaker firmly stated that the Fitna—allegedly supported by India and intended to destabilize peace—will be resolutely countered and will not be allowed to succeed in its malicious agenda.
He reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to counter terrorism and safeguard the hard-earned tranquility in Balochistan.
Sadiq said all possible measures are being taken to bring Balochistan at par with other provinces in terms of development.
NA Speaker added that the sacrifices made for the restoration of peace will never go in vain.
Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, emphasized that lasting peace in Balochistan is essential for the well-being of its people and the province’s economic stability.
He commended the Pakistan Army and other security forces for their dedicated efforts in maintaining peace and security. He also acknowledged the federal government’s continued support and contributions toward the development of Balochistan.
The meeting also addressed key parliamentary matters and was attended by Provincial Minister for Communication, Works, and Housing, Saleem Ahmed Khosa.
