Commissioner visits Allied Hospital-II, orders immediate redress of patients’ complaints

FAISALABAD, Oct 27 (APP):Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar visited Allied Hospital-II to assess the quality of medical services and patient care in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
During the visit, he inspected several key sections of the hospital, including the orthopedic ward, X-ray, ultrasound, and surgical emergency units. He took the time to interact with patients and their attendants in the waiting areas, inquiring about the availability of medicines and the overall standard of healthcare services being provided.
While observing the treatment process, the Divisional Commissioner directed the Medical Superintendent to take immediate action on complaints raised by some patients, ensuring timely medical assistance and addressing any issues promptly. “No patient should have any complaint regarding non-provision of medicines,” he emphasized.
Raja Jahangir Anwar also stressed that any shortage of doctors or medical staff must be resolved quickly, assuring that the required human resources and equipment would be provided to meet the hospital’s needs.
He reiterated that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the provincial government is committed to providing uninterrupted access to quality healthcare across Punjab. He further emphasized that the tangible results of health sector reforms must directly benefit patients without delay.
