LAHORE, Oct 27 (APP):Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) Chairman Muazzam Iqbal Sipra thoroughly inspected staff performance, administrative operations and the record section here at PRA (Operations) office on Monday
During the visit, the Chairman directed that all operational records be fully digitized within seven days to ensure data safety, easy accessibility and transparency in official procedures.
To further enhance efficiency and accountability, the Chairman ordered the mandatory implementation of biometric attendance for all staff members and installation of awareness flexes for visitors, highlighting PRA’s digital services and taxpayer facilitation initiatives.
He reiterated the importance of strict compliance with the Electronic Invoice Monitoring System (e-IMS) and urged field officers to accelerate business registration across all taxable sectors. He emphasized that these steps are essential to broaden the tax base and strengthen the culture of voluntary compliance.
Under the clear directions of Punjab Chief Minister, he added, transparency, merit and good governance will remain the cornerstones of PRA’s operations.
The Chairman also announced that enforcement teams are being expanded to improve monitoring, ensure stronger tax compliance and provide better service delivery to taxpayers.
