RAWALPINDI, October 27 (APP):The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi has intensified efforts to enhance the city’s beauty by decorating parks and green belts with vibrant flowers and plants, while ensuring safe and enjoyable recreational spaces for residents.

Under the special directives of PHA Director General (DG) Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, beautification work across major parks and green areas of the city has been completed.
The blooming flowers and lush greenery have transformed public spaces into scenic attractions, drawing large crowds of families and visitors, especially during the evenings.
According to a PHA spokesperson, colorful floral arrangements and well-maintained landscapes have not only improved the city’s visual appeal but also provided citizens with a refreshing environment for leisure and relaxation.
PHA DG Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said the authority is fully committed to offering the best recreational and security facilities to the public.
“Comprehensive security measures have been implemented in all major parks to ensure visitors’ safety,” he said, adding that dedicated PHA staff are diligently maintaining the horticultural work and taking special care of plants and flowers.
“The PHA is determined to make Rawalpindi greener, cleaner, and more beautiful,” Ranjha emphasized. “No negligence will be tolerated in providing citizens with an attractive and peaceful environment.”
He further said maintaining the city’s natural beauty and offering quality recreational opportunities remain among the authority’s top priorities, as PHA continues to work round the clock to promote a greener and healthier Rawalpindi.
