LAHORE, Oct 27 (APP):Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday left for Riyadh to attend the 9th conference of Future Investment Initiative (FII) on the special invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Bilal bin Saqib accompanied the prime minister as part of the high-level delegation.
The FII, being held in Riyadh, would bring together global leaders, investors, policymakers and renowned figures from various fields, where PM Shehbaz Sharif would represent Pakistan.
The prime minister would participate in discussions on sustainable development, economic inclusion, innovation and shifts in global geopolitics, presenting Pakistan’s perspective.
During the visit, the prime minister would meet with Saudi leadership to discuss expanding cooperation in trade, investment, energy and workforce sectors between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Global and regional issues of mutual interest would also be discussed in these meetings.
The prime minister would hold meetings with world leaders and heads of international organizations attending the FII to explore opportunities for cooperation in investment and sustainable development in Pakistan.
