PESHAWAR, Oct 27 (APP):A school teacher, identified as Inayatullah, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Swabi district on Monday.
According to police, the incident took place near the Dalori Gadoon check post, where unknown attackers opened fire on the teacher while he was on his way to school. Inayatullah died on the spot as a result of the gunfire.
The assailants managed to flee the scene after the attack. Police immediately cordoned off the area and shifted the body to a nearby hospital for postmortem.
Police said efforts are underway to determine the motive behind the targeted killing.
