ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):In solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), a rally marking Kashmir Black Day was taken out from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and culminated at D-Chowk, resonating with passionate slogans and chants for Kashmiri freedom and justice.
The rally was led by Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan & SAFRON Engr. Amir Muqam, accompanied by Chairman Kashmir Committee of the Parliament Rana Qasim Noon, Pakistan Sweet Home Patron-in-Chief Zamurad Khan, MNA Anjum Aqeel, Secretary Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan & SAFRON Zafar Hasan, Secretary Foreign Affairs Amna Baloch, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, alongside citizens from various walks of life.
Participants carried placards and banners condemning Indian atrocities in IIOJK and reaffirming unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s struggle for self-determination.
Speaking to the participants of the rally at its culmination point at D-Chowk, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ameer Muqam
said that October 27 remains a dark chapter in history, marking the forcible occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by Indian forces in 1947. “For 77 years, Kashmiris have endured grave human rights violations, yet their spirit for freedom and their love for Pakistan remain unbroken,” he stated.
He stressed that lasting peace in South Asia hinges on the just resolution of the Kashmir dispute in line with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. “Pakistan will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters until they achieve their right to self-determination,” he affirmed.
The rally concluded with renewed vows of solidarity, echoing Islamabad’s enduring commitment to the Kashmir cause.
