PESHAWAR, Oct 26 (APP): The province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was set to demonstrate its unwavering support for people of Kashmir as it prepares to observe Kashmir Black Day on Monday.
In a hand out issued here Sunday, a powerful and symbolic gesture of unity, all activity is scheduled to pause as a one-minute silence is observed across the entire province at precisely 10:00 am.
This solemn day is dedicated to expressing profound solidarity with Kashmiri people.
People from all walks of life, alongside various government departments, educational institutions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), are mobilizing to mark the Black Day.
A series of large-scale “Kashmir Rallies” are planned as focal point of public demonstrations, with citizens gathering to make their voices heard.
In addition to the rallies, different events such as seminars and discussion forums, are being organized. These activities are designed to highlight significance of the day and ensure that message of solidarity from people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was clear and resonant.
