ITP hits the road: Mobile vans roll out across Capital for public services

ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP):The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has launched its mobile facilitation vans and Police Station (PS) on Wheels initiative to deliver citizen services directly to communities across the capital from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
An official told APP on Sunday that the week-long deployment from October 27 to November 2, 2025, aims to make licensing, verification, and complaint registration services easily accessible without requiring citizens to visit police offices.
Schedule of Facilitation Vans and PS on Wheels
Monday, 27 October:
• Facilitation Van — F-9 Park, G-11 (Askari Bank), PAF Complex E-9, Traffic Office Faizabad
• PS on Wheels — G-13 Markaz and F-10 Kashmir Highway Service Road
Tuesday, 28 October:
• Facilitation Van — Blue Area (Tehzeeb Bakers), E-11/3 (Toba Masjid), Model Town Humak (SDPO Office), Traffic Office Faizabad
• PS on Wheels — PWD Main Boulevard and Media Town Gate 2
Wednesday, 29 October:
• Facilitation Van — Zia Masjid Area, PWD (near Patiala Jewelers), G-16 Markaz, Traffic Office Faizabad
• PS on Wheels — Koral Chowk and Taramri Chowk
Thursday, 30 October:
• Facilitation Van — Comsats University (Park Road), Benazir Chowk Tarnol, Pak Secretariat Blocks, Traffic Office Faizabad
• PS on Wheels — Bhara Kahu Bazar and Athal Stop
Friday, 31 October:
• Facilitation Van — Faisal Masjid, I-10 Markaz, Bari Imam House, Traffic Office Faizabad
• PS on Wheels — Rawal Town Service Road and Khanna Pul
Saturday, 1 November:
• Facilitation Van — Centaurus Mall, Naval Anchorage Society Office, Panjgran College (Lethrar Road), Traffic Office Faizabad
• PS on Wheels — Soan Gardens and Pakistan Town Phase II
Sunday, 2 November:
• Facilitation Van — Trail-5 (Margalla Road), Traffic Office Faizabad, Police Lines H-11, Islamabad Club
• PS on Wheels — F-6 Super Market and Saidpur Village
The spokesperson said the initiative reflects ITP’s citizen-centric approach under IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, ensuring that essential services such as licence renewals, character certificates, complaint registration, and documentation are easily available across residential and commercial zones.
