Chiniot roads get a fresh wash to combat smog

CHINIOT, Oct 24 (APP):The Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) has launched a road-washing operation in Chiniot district, on the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, to prevent smog and promote a clean environment, the local correspondent of APP reported this from Chiniot on Friday.
According to the details, District Manager FWMC Abdullah Nazir Bajwa stated that the operation aims to keep the main highways clean and free from dust, a major contributor to smog.
Alongside the washing operation, FWMC is carrying out routine cleaning daily, with all officers monitoring the cleaning process in the field.  FWMC’s efforts demonstrate its dedication to keeping Chiniot’s roads clean and reducing smog. The company’s initiatives are part of a broader campaign to promote cleanliness and sanitation in the region, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
