LAHORE, Oct 23 (APP):The Mayo Hospital Police checkpoint personnel arrested a two-member active motorcycle theft gang on Thursday.
According to police sources, the Mayo Hospital Police checkpoint took timely action and foiled the plot by arresting the two-member motorcycle theft gang, accused Umair and Arshad alias Don, and recovered two motorcycles, cash and illegal weapons from their possession and registered cases.
Police say that the two-member gang used to commit crimes in different parts of the city, steal motorcycles from innocent citizens and sell them for a pittance.
Furthermore, Qila Gujjar Singh Police, acting on a tip-off, arrested Usman and Zeeshan, who were involved in motorcycle thefts, near Jamia Naeemia, and recovered two stolen motorcycles and two illegal pistols with bullets from their possession and registered cases.
Also, Dolphin Squad arrested the accused after foiling the drug supply.
According to the police sources, the Dolphin Squad arrested professional liquor seller Adeel during a stop and search in the Ichhra area, while recovering 13 bottles of imported liquor from the suspect and handed him over to the Ichhra police.
