DIR LOWER, Oct 23 (APP):The district administration in collaboration with Social welfare department on Thursday lunched crackdown against the professional baggers to curb the menace from the district.
The crackdown had been started on the complaints of the people, the official sources said.
As many as four men and five women baggers were arrested during the crackdown and transferred to their native areas, they added.
The deputy commissioner directed to take strict action against the beggary in the district and take practilcle measures to stop using of the children in the begging.
