TASHKENT, Oct 23 (UzA/APP) : A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Center for State Environmental Expertise under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republican Center for State Environmental Expertise, Training, Retraining and Professional Development of Personnel under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus.
The signing ceremony was attended by specialists in the field, representatives of governmental and public organizations, members of the Belarusian delegation, environmental experts, and media representatives.
The memorandum provides for the development of scientific and practical cooperation in the field of ecology and the enhancement of professional capacity. The key areas of collaboration include environmental assessment and improvement of state ecological expertise processes; implementation of modern scientific approaches in practice; experience exchange through joint seminars, advanced training courses, and scientific-practical forums for experts from both Uzbekistan and Belarus; cooperation in the introduction of digital databases, online analysis systems, and innovative methods in environmental assessment; joint research projects and scientific studies by experts from both countries aimed at ensuring ecological safety; development of environmental norms, regulations, standards, and educational materials; joint participation in international initiatives related to ecological expertise and environmental protection.
