HYDERABAD, Oct 22 (APP):Two-day Mute Gala festival starts in Mehran University of Engineering. Technology, Jamshoro. The two-day Muet Gala festival organized by Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro at the Entry Test Ground was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Taha Hussain Ali and Vice Chancellor of Sindh University Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri by cutting the ribbon.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Vice Chancellor of Mehran University Prof Dr Taha Hussain Ali said that Mute Gala is the biggest festival organized by students in the educational institutions of Jamshoro.
This festival is being organized again after a gap of three years, the last time Mute Gala was held in 2022.
He said that the students of Mehran University are responsible and sensible who have established positive traditions.The Vice Chancellor said that the real strength and identity of Mehran University are its students.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Sindh University Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri said that this festival provides the best opportunity for happiness and entertainment for the students in the educational environment of Jamshoro.
He said that students should celebrate such occasions with discipline because such festivals bring happiness and harmony. Mehran University has organized this wonderful festival not only for its students but also for students of all educational institutions of Jamshoro.
Stalls of food, games, art, books, cultural costumes, rallies, ajraks and other products have been set up in the festival, including NADRA, Motorway Police, Rescue, License Branch, Blood Bank.
Along with this, research models prepared by students of Mehran University were also exhibited.A large number of students were present on the first day of the festival.
In the opening ceremony, students of Mehran University Public School presented songs. The ceremony was attended by Deans of Mehran University, Professor Dr Rizwan Ahmed Memon, Professor Dr Abdul Sattar Lark, Professor Dr Ashfaq Hashmi, Registrar Lachman Das Sothar and teachers.
