ISLAMABAD, Oct 22 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday held an important meeting with Members of Parliament and political leaders from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to discuss the country’s overall political landscape and review the progress of ongoing development projects in the province.
The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s Office, focused on federal efforts to boost socio-economic development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and enhance coordination between the center and provincial stakeholders, a Prime Minister’s Office news release said.
Prime Minister Shehbaz reiterated the government’s commitment to equitable development across all regions, emphasizing that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains a key priority in the national agenda.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the pace of development work and directed relevant authorities to expedite key infrastructure and welfare projects. He also emphasized the need for sustained political engagement to ensure stability and growth in the province.
Prominent figures present at the meeting included Federal Ministers Engineer Amir Muqam, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, Attaullah Tarar, and Rana Mubashir Iqbal. Advisor to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah also attended, alongside Members of Parliament Peer Sabir Shah, Captain (R) Safdar, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Ikhtiyar Wali, and Sardar Mushtaq.
