RAWALPINDI, Oct 22 (APP):Police have arrested eight outlaws and recovered a large quantity of liquor, weapons, and ammunition from their possession during crackdown here on Wednesday.
Police have recovered 43 liters of liquor, an iron knuckle, and illegal weapons along with ammunition.
According to police spokesman, the operation were carried out in the jurisdictions of Ratta Amral, Saddar Wah, Naseerabad, Chaklala, Rawat, and Waris Khan police stations.
Police have registered separate cases against all of them and further investigation is underway.
The divisional SPs appreciated the efforts of the police teams for their successful operations against criminal elements.
They said the ongoing crackdown against drug peddlers, illegal arms holders, and law violators will continue without any discrimination.
The SPs also directed all police personnel to intensify patrolling, strengthen intelligence-based operations, and maintain strict vigilance in their respective areas to prevent crime and protect the lives and properties of people.
