MULTAN, Oct 22 (APP):An Additional District and Sessions Judge in Shujabad sentenced a man to seven years in prison with a fine of Rs 50,000 after he was found guilty in a narcotics case on Wednesday.
The court announced its verdict upon completion of the trial, convicting Majid Hussain. Accused was arrested by ASI Muhammad Jahangir of City police station Shujabad who had recovered Heroin from his possession in 2023.
A case was registered under section 9(c) of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997.
In case of default, the accused will undergo additional imprisonment as per law, police spokesman said.
