Police crackdown continues against drug suppliers, over 5kg drugs seized
RAWALPINDI, Oct 22 (APP): Police have arrested four drug suppliers and recovered over 5.5 kilograms of drugs from their possession during separate operations here on Wednesday.
According to a police spokesperson, Kahuta Police apprehended two drug peddlers and seized 2.9 kg drugs from their possession. Meanwhile, Gujjar Khan Police arrested another drug smuggler and recovered 1.6 kg drugs while Dhamyal Police detained drug pusher with 1.3 kg drugs.
Police have arrested separate cases against all the accused and further investigation is underway.
SP Saddar Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar appreciated the performance of police teams for their successful operations against drug peddlers and criminal elements.
He said that the police are fully committed to eliminate the menace of drugs from society and ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens.
He emphasized that all available resources are being utilized to curb drug-related crimes and to bring those involved in the illicit trade to justice.
