ISLAMABAD, Oct 22 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police held a dignified passing-out ceremony at the Capital Police College Islamabad for the 14th Intermediate Course and 23rd Lower Course of the force.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the event was attended by senior officers and graced by Commandant Capital Police College Muhammad Atique Tahir as the chief guest.

The Commandant distributed awards and certificates among the top-performing officers and personnel who excelled during training. He congratulated the graduates for successfully completing departmental courses essential for their professional advancement and commended the instructors for their dedication.
Addressing the ceremony, Commandant Muhammad Atique Tahir said that all officers must remember their duty to serve and protect the public.

“We are servants of the people, not the other way around,” he said. “There is no greater peace than that found in serving others. Treat people with kindness, and you will always earn their respect.”
He emphasized that safeguarding citizens’ lives and property, upholding the law, and maintaining discipline should remain the foremost priorities of every police officer.
The Commandant added that upgrading the Capital Police College and enhancing professional training standards are among the top priorities of the Islamabad Police, ensuring that officers are well-equipped to meet modern policing challenges.
