MUZAFFARGARH , Oct 22 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Usman Tahir Jappa, accompanied by District Police Officer Ghazanfar Ali Shah, visited various relief distribution points in Muzaffargarh to review the ongoing disbursement of financial assistance among flood-affected families.
During his visit to the Government Postgraduate College Muzaffargarh and Alipur relief centers, the deputy commissioner inspected the process of aid distribution and personally checked the SMS notifications being sent to beneficiaries regarding the disbursement of funds.
He emphasized that complete transparency and discipline were being ensured in the distribution process so that deserving flood victims receive their due assistance without any delay or inconvenience.
Deputy Commissioner Jappa said that providing financial relief and compensation to flood-affected families to help them recover from their losses is among the top priorities of the Punjab government.
He further stated that the district administration, in collaboration with the police and relevant departments, is fully committed to ensuring that the relief funds reach the rightful beneficiaries efficiently and fairly.
