MULTAN, Oct 21 (APP):Malik Abdul Ghaffar Dogar, a former Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) ticket holder and social activist from PP-220, has formally announced his disassociation from the party.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Multan Press Club, Dogar clarified that he has no current affiliation or membership with TLP and has never held any official position within the party.
“If any institution mistakenly considers me part of TLP, I categorically reject it and announce my formal disassociation,” he stated.
Dogar strongly condemned any actions by TLP—or any other group—that go against the country or its institutions. Emphasizing his loyalty to Pakistan, he said, “I am a Pakistani by heart. My ancestors sacrificed for this nation. I can never go against Pakistan or its institutions.”
He also shared that due to a serious heart condition, he is currently unable to take an active part in politics.
The press conference was attended by Raza Dawood Advocate, Muhammad Ashraf, Sheikh Shameem Ahmed, Shabbir Bhutta Advocate, Chaudhry Riaz Ahmed, and Ali Abbas.
