ISLAMABAD, Oct 21 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam, chaired the first meeting of the Implementation and Monitoring Committee on Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) affairs on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Chief Secretary AJK, representatives of the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) and Secretary for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan, Zafar Hassan, said a statement.
During the meeting, the committee conducted a detailed review of the agreement reached with the JAAC.
Federal Minister Amir Muqam directed the relevant departments to ensure full implementation of the agreed points.
He announced that the next meeting of the Monitoring and Implementation Committee will be held in Muzaffarabad on November 15.
“The Prime Minister of Pakistan is keen to provide maximum relief to the people of Azad Kashmir,” Amir Muqam stated, reaffirming that all available resources would be utilized to resolve public issues effectively.
