PESHAWAR, Oct 21 (APP): The Election Commission on Tuesday announced the list of candidates contesting the upcoming Senate bye-election 2025 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the General seat.
The candidates include Taj Mohammad Afridi, son of Sakhi Gul Afridi, from Kyber will contest as an independent. Khurram Zeeshan, son of Nasir Khan from Kohat, and Abid Khan Yousafzai, son of Jamshid Khan from Mardan, are also running as independents.
Irfan Saleem, son of Saleem Ullah from Peshawar, has entered the race as an independent as well.
Nisar Khan, son of Safdar Khan from Nowshera, is contesting on the ticket of the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians.
According to the Returning Officer, polling for the Senate bye-election will be held in Peshawar on Thursday, October 30 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
