MULTAN, Oct 20 (APP): The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Multan has launched a new initiative aimed at enhancing the city’s beauty through the installation of additional planters and decorative carts across major locations.
As part of this campaign, vibrant plants and flowers have been placed along High Court Road and other key areas, bringing a refreshing charm to the cityscape. The installations are part of a broader effort to promote environmental sustainability and urban beautification.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General PHA Multan Kareem Bakhsh stated that, under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the leadership of the Commissioner Multan, the PHA is actively working to uplift the aesthetic appeal of Multan. He emphasized that, alongside tree and flower plantation drives, the strategic placement of planters is a central part of the authority’s plan to create a greener, cleaner, and more attractive urban environment.
He further noted that a comprehensive beautification plan is being implemented through a coordinated strategy. In addition to planting efforts, green belts and roundabouts across the city are being upgraded and beautified.
To ensure sustainability and upkeep, a special task force has been deployed to maintain cleanliness and regular care of green spaces. Kareem Bakhsh reaffirmed PHA’s commitment to keeping Multan lush, clean, and visually appealing for its residents and visitors.
