BAHAWALPUR, Oct 20 (APP):In a major people-friendly initiative, the Chief Minister of Punjab has approved a substantial grant of Rs2 billion for the restoration, renovation, and modernization of Sher Bagh Bahawalpur. This landmark decision has been widely welcomed as positive news for citizens across the province.
MPA Saadia Bilal shared these sentiments during her visit to Bahawalpur Zoo. She praised the Chief Minister’s commitment to public welfare, noting that the initiative reflects the government’s dedication to creating modern, recreational, and family-friendly spaces for the public.
During her visit, MPA Saadia Bilal instructed the zoo administration to ensure a clean and hygienic environment, high-quality food options, modern entertainment facilities, comfortable seating, and an overall family-friendly atmosphere. She expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for allocating the generous grant, emphasizing that the uplift of Sher Bagh will significantly enhance the quality of life for local residents and visitors alike.
She was accompanied by Curator of Sher Bagh Bahawalpur, Shehbaz Anwar Mann, and Senior Vice President of the PML(N) Lawyers Forum, Bilal Malik. MPA Saadia Bilal highlighted that the Chief Minister’s governance is rooted in public service, prioritizing citizens’ well-being, ease, and development in every decision.
She further directed the management to implement all facilities free of charge, as per the Chief Minister’s vision, to ensure that families from all social and economic backgrounds can enjoy the park in a safe, pleasant, and inclusive environment.
