FC North restores two mosques destroyed by militants in Bajaur

PESHAWAR, Oct 20 (APP):The Frontier Corps (FC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North) has successfully completed the restoration and renovation of two mosques Masjid Suleman Khel and Masjid Ahrab in Bajaur district.
The district administration on Monday informed both mosques had suffered severe damage in attacks carried out by militants.
As part of the rehabilitation project, solar power systems were installed to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity. The local community has widely appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Army, describing the initiative as a symbol of peace and stability in the region.
Residents expressed deep gratitude to the Pakistan Army, saying the restoration of their places of worship has won their hearts. The Frontier Corps team carried out extensive reconstruction work, improving both the interior and exterior of the mosques, including enhanced facilities for lighting, cleanliness, and ablution areas in line with modern standards.
Following the completion of the project, large numbers of locals have begun attending prayers at the renovated mosques. The initiative has further strengthened the bond of trust and cooperation between the local population and the Pakistan Army.
