ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Khanna Police team recovered a stolen Prado SUV, worth nearly Rs. 10 million, in a successful operation led by Station House Officer (SHO) Aamir Hayat.
An official told APP on Sunday that the luxury vehicle, bearing registration number CG-333 ICT, had been snatched at gunpoint in Karachi and later shifted to Islamabad. Acting on a tip-off, SHO Aamir Hayat and his team intercepted a suspicious vehicle, which upon checking, was confirmed to be the stolen Prado.
Police registered FIR No. 411 at Khanna Police Station and arrested the suspects from the spot. The vehicle was taken into custody as part of the investigation.
The official added that SP Sihala Zone praised SHO Aamir Hayat and his team for their timely and effective action, stating that such recoveries further strengthen public trust in the police force.
He reiterated that Islamabad Police remain committed to combating crime, ensuring public safety, and bringing all criminal elements to justice without discrimination.
