Inauguration of  Climate-Adaptive Livestock Shelter held in Quetta

QUETTA, Oct 17 (APP): In a major initiative  by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the inauguration of a Climate-Adaptive Livestock Shelter was held on Friday at Killi Gul Muhammad Saydan Quetta, marking a significant step toward climate-resilient livestock management in Balochistan.
The event was attended by the Secretary Livestock, Muhammad Tayyeb Lehri, and the Director General Livestock (Animal Health & Extension Services), Dr. Muhammad Farooq Tareen, denoting the department’s unwavering commitment to sustainable livestock development and animal welfare.
Coinciding with the World Food Day, the ceremony symbolized compassion, resilience, and innovation bringing together government officials, FAO representatives, and local communities to promote animal health, welfare, and climate-smart livestock practices.
