KDA holds first-ever online open court on Facebook

MANSEHRA, Oct 17 (APP): For the first time in the history of the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA), an online open court session was held live on Facebook.
The session was organized under the public agenda of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the good governance road-map of the Chief Secretary, and the government’s public-friendly initiatives.
Director General KDA Sher Khan presided over the session, which drew a large number of citizens, tourists, and local notables. Participants raised questions related to tourism, development projects, environmental protection, and local issues, to which the Director General provided detailed responses.
During the session, DG highlighted the operation against illegal constructions, implementation of the River Act, improvement of the sewerage system, and measures for the preservation of the valley’s natural beauty and control of environmental pollution.
He also discussed the repair and construction of the Saif-ul-Muluk Lake Road, the promotion of eco and winter tourism, and the master planning of Kaghan, Naran, and Battakundi.
DG appreciated the strong public interest and participation, welcomed the valuable suggestions for the promotion of tourism, and announced that such interactive online sessions will continue in the future.
