SUKKUR, Oct 17 (APP): Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) Khairpur on Friday hosted a sensitization seminar to prepare stakeholders for the National Data Fest 2025.
The event, chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr Yousuf Khushk, emphasized the importance of data-driven decision-making in shaping Pakistan’s future.
Dr Yousuf Khushk highlighted the significance of accurate data in policy-making, economy, education, and health.
Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) officials assured collaboration and provision of data for research and development.
A MoU between PBS and SALU is planned to formalize their partnership.
The National Data Fest 2025 will include panel discussions, keynote speeches, inter-university quizzes, poster competitions, and project exhibitions. The event aims to promote data-driven development and research in Pakistan.
The seminar concluded with a consensus on the power of collaboration and an invitation to the university community to participate in the Data Fest. Key university figures and PBS officials attended the event, emphasizing the importance of data in decision-making.
