MUZZAFARGARH, Oct 17 (APP): Senior Agriculture Officer, Farooq Ahmed on Friday advised the farmers to complete cultivation of the wheat crop from November, 1 to 20 for achieving best production of the crop.
He stated this while addressing the farmers in Moza, Doaba.
Farooq pointed out that use of sufficient fertilizers and cultivation of the crop through seed drill proved helpful in boosting the production.
By contorling weeds and and timely irrigation of the wheat fields could prove beneficial for increasing the production, he added.
The officer said the farmers should visit nearby agriculture department’s offices to take guidance regarding the crops.
He said the Punjab government was committed for the progress of agriculture sector.
